We called into Big Bear Sporty Goods today for a fish report of the lake. Here it is: Troll is good pushing early morning in the lead by the dam with a Nox crawler in 8-12 feet of water. Both fish are pushing a little deeper passim the lake with some of the fish in 20-30 feet of water. FINAL 2019 REPORT
October 26, 2019 --I can see the evenings are cooling and the days shortening to drop these temps to real numbers pool and get these Pisces active again. BUT... There are still fish to find with the right proficiency and patience. Harnessed depth fishing is the only answer and I'm seeing a bit of life in the former mornings and just at sunset thus we have a window of biters. Alga is creeping but not berating until no, as soon as I see the piss temps and DO dropping but the chilling off will save us just as it gets critical for these hold overs. I am feeling an itch and the only way I toilet scratch it is with much cow bell or a big fat stocking of scales and slime.
